At this point I have lenient permissions here with regard to files.  Anyone can download anything.  However, I can't allow "guest" to post messages without causing a lot of confusion as to who wrote what when threads and conversations develop.  So please, register and then post.  Your email address will not be exposed to the internet (unless you want it to be). 

Here is a summary of current limits and permissions.

To download a file: anyone.
To read any message: anyone

To post in any of the message areas: Newbie or higher (requires registration)
To alter your own posts: Newbie or higher (requires registration)
To upload your own avatar: Newbie or higher (requires registration)

Attachment size limit: 8143KB (the forum software becomes unreliable for larger files.)
Total of attachments per message: 10 files, 10MB total.
