Just look at the ones with 320X240. They were downsized from 640X480 - but without any further quality-adjustments ! Believe me, the Still-picture quality of the AV100 is rudimentary and not supposed to be used for printing.

Prints of AV100 images at 3x5 are the equivalent of my old Olympus APS camera. 5x7 starts to get grainy (same with APS, actually...). 8x10 are noticably pixelated.
It's 640x480, there's not much you can do about it, but I've gotten some pretty good shots when the light is good and the camera is properly focused. It's fine for snapshots (especially with the 10X zoom and EIS). If it had a flash (or better low light performance) I'd be perfectly happy...

Not sure if this qualifies http://i95.photobucket.com/albums/l121/1metoo1/PoolFrog.jpgPool Frog in Madeira Feb 2008. A frame from clips comprising an MPEG2 holiday video taken with a Panasonic SAV-AV100, using the 10x zoom. After transfer to the hard drive of a DMR-EX85EB for editing, the video was put onto DVD and "AVS Video Converter" allowed a single frame to be exported which was slightly sharpened with "Irfanview"
