My SV-AV100 has a blind spot!
« on: July 15, 2009, 01:24:41 AM »

Hello! I've searched the forum but I have not found anything regarding my issue. Recently I have discovered a serious problem with my camera. There is something that seems like a "blind spot" in the zoom and the shot goes completely out of focus. I can continue zooming out of blurriness and the camera focuses fine. And then when I zoom back out it will go out of focus at that same spot again and if I continue to zoom out it will focus again. I tried turning off AF but the problem remains.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is my camera finally dead? I've had this thing for a while and I really don't want to part with it.
